Set Your Notification Radius Tight
If you're only willing to drive 5 miles, set your alert radius to 5 miles. A tight radius means every notification is actually relevant to you — no alerts for sales you'd never visit.
Save Sales the Night Before
Browse and save your favorites on Friday night. By Saturday morning you'll have a ready-made route instead of scrambling to find addresses while everyone else is already shopping.
Filter by Category First
If you're specifically hunting for tools, furniture, or kids' gear, use the category filter before browsing the map. It cuts through the noise and shows you only the sales worth your time.
Cluster Your Route Geographically

Do I need to create an account to browse?
Nope! You can browse all nearby sales without signing up. An account is only needed if you want to save favorites or post a listing.
How do I know a sale is still happening?
Listings show the date and hours posted by the seller. You can also check if the listing is marked active. When in doubt, give the address a quick drive-by.
What kinds of sales are listed?
Yard sales, garage sales, estate sales, moving sales, and more. Sellers can tag their listings by category so you know what to expect.
Can I list an estate sale or moving sale, not just a yard sale?
Absolutely. Yard Hopper supports yard sales, garage sales, estate sales, moving sales, and any other type of residential sale. Just select the appropriate category when creating your listing.
How far in advance can I list my sale?
You can list your sale as far in advance as you'd like. We recommend posting at least 3–5 days ahead so local shoppers have time to add it to their weekend plans.
What if my sale gets rained out?
You can edit or delete your listing at any time. If your sale is postponed, update the date and time in your listing so shoppers who saved it get the correct information.
